- Donor and project funds
EOMS BD provides NGO and microfinance accounting in Bangladesh as software, as a fully outsourced accounts service, or both. It keeps your current loan and savings MIS, turns each day's collections into vouchers, reconciles branches with head office, calculates loan loss provision, and prepares MRA, PKSF, donor and audit-ready financial statements. Pricing is a written quote after a first free consultation.
Why NGO books stop matching the MIS
Most NGOs in Bangladesh run a good loan and savings MIS, but the accounts still live in separate Excel files. Every month someone has to re-type the numbers, and the two never quite agree.
MIS and ledger disagree
Loan outstanding and savings balances in the MIS differ from the ledger, and nobody can say which is right.
Branch and head office
Fund transfers and HO current accounts do not reconcile at month-end, so consolidated figures are delayed.
Provision by hand
Loan ageing and loan loss provision are worked out in spreadsheets, where one wrong formula changes the surplus.
Report deadlines
MRA, PKSF and every donor want a different format, and the same data is rebuilt by hand each time.
Follow one collection from the field to the financial statements
Watch how an instalment collected at a samity becomes a voucher, reaches the ledger, is reconciled with the MIS and ends up in your regulator and donor reports, without anyone re-typing it.

What your organisation gets
Vouchers from your MIS
Daily collections, disbursements and savings are posted to the right accounts, split into principal, service charge and savings.
Chart of accounts that fits
Accounts and codes mapped to MRA formats and to each donor's budget lines, set up once and kept current.
Branch to head office
Head office current accounts, fund transfers and consolidated statements for any number of branches, zones and areas.
Loan ageing and provision
Loans classified by days overdue and provision calculated from your policy and the regulator's current rates.
Donor and project funds
Restricted and unrestricted funds, shared-cost allocation and budget-versus-actual by donor and project.
Regulator and donor reports
MRA-format reports, PKSF and lender reports, NGO Affairs Bureau project accounts and donor financial reports.
Board dashboard
PAR, on-time recovery, self-sufficiency ratios, branch profitability and cash position every month.
Audit-ready all year
Reconciliations, schedules and supporting papers kept current, so year-end audit becomes a review, not a rescue.

Six kinds of organisation, one accounting system
Each has its own regulator, rules and reports, and the system is set up for that.
How we start, in 5 steps
Accounts health check
We review your books, MIS reports, bank statements and last audit report, and list every difference between the MIS and the ledger.
Structure and opening balances
Chart of accounts, branch and project codes, and opening balances agreed with your loan portfolio and savings lists.
Connect the MIS
We map every MIS transaction type to an account and run one month in parallel with your current method.
Monthly cycle
Vouchers, reconciliations, accruals, provision, month-end close and reports on a fixed calendar.
Year-end and audit
Year-end close, financial statements with notes, the auditor's document list and answers to audit queries.
Three ways to run NGO accounts
| Excel and manual books | EOMS BD system and service | |
|---|---|---|
| MIS and ledger | Re-typed, often different | Posted from the MIS and reconciled monthly |
| Branch reconciliation | Chased at year-end | Agreed every month |
| Loan loss provision | Spreadsheet formulas | Calculated from loan ageing |
| Regulator and donor reports | Rebuilt by hand each time | Produced from one set of data |
| Audit preparation | Weeks of searching | Schedules and papers ready all year |
| Who does the work | Your staff alone | Our team, your team, or both |
Frequently asked questions
No. Your loan and savings MIS stays as it is. We build the accounts from its reports or exports, and can connect directly later if you choose our software.
MRA-licensed microfinance institutions, foreign-funded NGOs registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, donor project NGOs, PKSF partner organisations, trusts and foundations, and cooperatives.
Both are available. You can hand us the full accounts work, use our NGO accounting software with your own team, or a hybrid where your staff post daily entries and we handle reconciliation, provision, reports and year-end.
Yes. We prepare the reports in the formats your regulator and lenders currently require, from the same reconciled data used for your accounts, and update the formats when circulars change.
Typically one week for the health check, two to three weeks for the chart of accounts and opening balances, and one month of parallel running. The actual time depends on the number of branches and the state of past records.
By the number of branches and members, projects and donors, monthly transaction volume, the reports you need and the working model. After the first consultation and health check you receive a written, line-by-line quote.
We sign a written non-disclosure agreement before work starts. Access is role-based, backups run daily, and all data is handed back to you when the contract ends.
