The EOMS BD e-commerce startup package combines three things for people launching an online business in Bangladesh: a custom e-commerce website that you fully own (quoted separately in writing), introductions to direct suppliers and importers EOMS BD knows across several product categories, and business support and training on product selection, store setup and marketing. You buy from suppliers directly and negotiate your own terms; EOMS BD does not sell products or set supplier prices.
- Direct supplier introductions, so you can buy wholesale without layers of middlemen.
- Help reaching an alternative supplier if your first one runs out of stock.
- A store with the domain and hosting in your name, full source code and admin panel.
- Practical training so you can run orders, delivery and marketing yourself.
- No promises of sales, profit or a fixed number of products.
Who the startup package is for
The package is designed for people who want to start selling online but have not yet settled where their products will come from, how they will sell, or who will build the store. If you already have reliable suppliers and only need a website, a standard website quote will suit you better.
The idea came from a pattern in client conversations. After receiving a website proposal, first-time sellers often asked a follow-up question: "Can you also put me in touch with suppliers and help me get the business going?" A website on its own does not solve that problem, so we built a package that does. It tends to fit people who:
- Are launching a first online business, alongside a job or full-time.
- Sell a little through a Facebook page and want their own store and better sourcing.
- Have a category in mind, such as clothing, cosmetics, gadgets or baby products, but no supplier yet.
- Want to start with small quantities or dropshipping to limit risk.
- Are returning to Bangladesh, or are based abroad, and want to set up a local online business with experienced help.
What is in the package
There are three parts, each with a defined scope that is written into your quote. The website provides the shopfront, supplier introductions provide the stock, and business support helps you avoid expensive early mistakes.
| Part | What EOMS BD provides | What you are responsible for |
|---|---|---|
| E-commerce website | A custom store with catalogue, checkout, stock and order management, payments, courier integration, full admin panel and full ownership | Supplying your logo, product photos and descriptions; reviewing and approving each stage on a demo link |
| Direct supplier contacts | Introductions to suppliers and importers we know personally in the category you want to sell | Negotiating prices, checking samples, agreeing order and payment terms |
| Business support and training | Guidance on product selection, store setup, order handling and getting started with marketing | Putting in the time, acting on advice, making the business decisions |
The website is quoted separately because its cost depends on your products and the features you need. The scope of the supplier and support parts is listed line by line in the same written quote, so there is no ambiguity later about what was included.
How the supplier introductions work
You tell us what you want to sell, the quality you are aiming for and roughly what quantity you expect; we introduce you to suitable direct suppliers or importers from our own network. From that point you deal with them directly.
EOMS BD has real working contacts with direct suppliers and importers across several categories. We are not a trading company: we do not buy and resell stock, and we do not set the prices suppliers charge you. Our role is to shorten the search and get you talking to the right people.
- Brief us: product type, quality level, approximate quantity, and whether you want to hold stock or use dropshipping.
- Introduction: we connect you with one or more suitable suppliers or importers.
- Negotiate directly: agree price, minimum order, delivery and return terms with the supplier yourself.
- Check samples: before any sizeable order, inspect samples for quality, sizing and packaging.
- Start small: where possible, begin with small quantities or dropshipping and scale once you see what sells.
In dropshipping, the supplier ships each order directly to your customer, so you do not need to buy inventory up front. The trade-off is less control over packaging and delivery speed, which is why sample orders and clear written terms matter.
What happens when a supplier runs out of stock
Because we know more than one supplier in most categories, we can help you reach an alternative if your first supplier runs short. What nobody can guarantee is that an alternative will have the identical product at the identical price.
Running out of stock while ads are live is one of the most costly situations for a young store. A few habits reduce the risk considerably:
- Build a relationship with at least one backup supplier from the start.
- Keep the store's low-stock alerts switched on so you know before stock runs out, not after.
- Mark items as out of stock on the site rather than taking orders you may have to cancel.
- Re-check samples from any new supplier before selling their stock, as quality can differ.
- Plan ahead for seasonal peaks, when suppliers' stock tends to move fastest.
Business support and training
The aim of the support is independence: by the end, you should be able to choose products, list them, confirm orders, book deliveries and run basic marketing yourself. The length and scope of business support are set out in your quote.
| Area | What we cover |
|---|---|
| Product selection | How to weigh demand, price point, ease of delivery and return risk before committing to a product |
| Pricing | Building a selling price from purchase cost, packaging, delivery and advertising |
| Store setup | Adding products, categories, variants and stock from the admin panel |
| Orders and delivery | Confirming orders, booking parcels with the courier, handling returns |
| Marketing basics | Using a Facebook page and Meta Pixel, and planning first ad campaigns |
The website part in detail
The store is a custom build that belongs to you from day one. It is paid for in three milestone instalments, and you see the work on a demo link before each payment.
- Features: catalogue, categories, search, cart and checkout, stock management with low-stock alerts, orders and order status, customer accounts, and sales and profit and loss reports.
- Payments and delivery: cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and Rocket (merchant approval required), optional SSLCommerz card payments, and Steadfast, Pathao or RedX courier integration.
- Technology: a Laravel backend and REST API with a fully animated Next.js/React frontend, MySQL and Redis; no WordPress, so no theme or plugin licence fees.
- Ownership: domain registered in your name, hosting in your own account, and the full admin panel, source code, database and credentials handed over.
- Payments: an advance, a second instalment after the homepage design is approved, and a third after the admin panel is complete.
- Timeline and support: typically about 25 to 30 days once the advance and content are received; then 6 months of free support, 1 year of free bug fixing and free lifetime SSL.

What the package does not promise
No package can guarantee sales or profit, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise. We provide sourcing access, a store you own and experienced guidance; results depend on your products, pricing, marketing and consistency.
We do not promise a level of sales, a profit margin or a fixed number of products. We do not sell products ourselves or set supplier prices. Quality, price and trading terms are agreed between you and the supplier, so always inspect samples and get terms in writing before you buy.

Frequently asked questions
What does the e-commerce startup package include?
Three parts: a custom e-commerce website that you fully own, introductions to direct suppliers and importers in your chosen category, and business support and training on product selection, store setup and marketing. The scope of each part is written into your quote.
Do I have to buy products through EOMS BD?
No. We introduce you to suppliers and you deal with them directly, including price, minimum order and payment terms. EOMS BD does not sell products or set supplier prices.
Can I start with small quantities or dropshipping?
Small-quantity buying and dropshipping are possible with many of the suppliers we know, where the supplier ships directly to your customer. Terms vary by supplier and product, so confirm them during your own negotiation.
What if my supplier runs out of stock?
Because we know more than one supplier in most categories, we can help you reach an alternative. An alternative may not have the identical product or price, so check samples again before selling their stock.
How long does the business support last?
The length and scope of business support and training are set out in your package quote. Separately, the website comes with 6 months of free support and 1 year of free bug fixing after launch.
Will the package guarantee sales?
No. We provide supplier access, a store you own and practical guidance, but sales and profit depend on your products, pricing, marketing and effort. We do not promise results.
How much does the startup package cost?
It depends on the website features you need and the scope of support. After a short conversation about your plans, we send a written, line-by-line quote that separates first-year costs from costs in later years.
